7 year experience

Hello everyone I know it's been 4 years since I posted here but it's time to reflect on what I learned these 7 years in the industry that I might never leave.
First hard work can be rewarded. Yes I'm a hard worker no matter the task at hand. After 3 and 1/2 year working at my first job I did get a promotion but I could have gotten it sooner but because their was 3 other people their longer then me they had the opportunity first. Even then I almost did not get the promotion since I did not have a car.
Second hard work can back fire. Funny enough working to hard might lead to health and mental problems that are hard to recover from. After 5+ years with my first job they cut my hours claiming that I need to take it easy and not to over do it. Sadly my life style did not like this. Then slowly days I wanted off were taken from me to help someone else. Even when I earned a day off on the weekend someone thought it was better for them to have both days and not to share with the rest of us. Even after years of working for this company I lost all my manager shifts and was in a sense demoted to team member that can wear a manager shirt.
Third traveling is required. When I started working traveling to work and home was a given. Most times I had a ride line up or I just walked to help lose weight. But a few years later I started going to other stores which I did not plan on. I started to like going to other stores and as one of the managers I knew would say, "A change in sense is a good feeling. Seeing the same 4 walls everyday gets boring." As often they asked me to travel I said yes every time.
Fourth traveling can get tiresome. After doing this for more years I get tired of it. It get pricey for me since I use uber to get home. Plus I only go to 1 other store now and it's getting old. Thankfully the company that I part of is willing to help me travel to the other stores.
Wow a lot has happen and even more for me to write about. I think leaving me room to write more is a good idea right now. Hope you all are well and see you soom.

New resturant idea

Hello everyone I have had a new idea for a small place for people to stay cool and have a nice relax time.  Where I live their is not ice cream places around, I have soft serve but that is not the same.  I grew up with Kimbles Farm and Friendly's and I miss it.  So why do I know open my own place that serves ice cream during the summer.  One problem what about the winter?  Then it hit me how did Friendly's survived so long they had hot food.  So during the winter I will serve hot food like soup.  Well that is good and all but a new problem forms, how do I keep the ice cream from melting or soup freezing?  Simple, a duel counter system with soup on one side and ice cream on the other.  Their are other details that will need to still be ironed out before this great idea for my area can go up and I will need the money to do it too.  Thanks for reading and leave any thoughts.

Ray Robinson's

Located near the heart of Downtown Lowell sits a small dinner call Ray Robinson's.  First off I want to say the staff is really nice and are willing to help you out if you ask for it.  With their good size drink selection they take care of you very well.  For the first part of my meal I had a breakfast sandwich and it was good.  It had sausage eggs and home fries. With my drink it came to about $7.20 before tax and so I also got lunch.  Which was a cheese burger plate with 2 sandwiches and choice of fries, home fries, onion rings and coleslaw.  I can tell you that to my knowledge no one else does this.  If I am wrong I am sorry and please tell me.  In the end my total was $18.14 for 2 meals and drink and I think that is a good deal if I have not seen one.  Please check it out and see you all next time.

Mill City Pizza

So I have been eating at this place that is near my place of residence and it is called Mill City Pizza on Westford St Lowell.  The menu is a very good size being a family owned place and food takes about 10-20 minutes depending on what you order.  They have free delivery on orders greater than $10 which is good for people trying to stay under $20 a week.  The food they cook is really good and their dinner plates are great with 2 sides of your choice.  So if you want good food for a good price check this place out and help local places stay as long as possible.  This is what I will be doing for a little bit and I will try to add pics and other this to make this more interesting.

Hosting Parties

Long ago parties where a big social event where people meet and chat about anything.  I know this is not completly related but hear me out.  Food makes these parties boom so what to cook is the greatest challange for many of these parties.  I have found that if it a babique then bugers, hot dogs are great with chips.  Having vegie platers to keep people from going in sane is a good idea.  I plan on having parties at my home but when that will happen is a great question I keep asking myself.  I want to hold a feast for all my friends to cook and bring in food.  Soon very soon I think party at my place soon.

Mobile or stationary

The food industry has multiple ways to provide food to any individual.  The biggest one and the one people know the most is the stationary type which is a sit down restaurant like McDonald and Boston Market.  Common theme between these 2 restaurants is that there are places people sit and relax.  But a common type that most constructors go to is the mobile food places.  These places go where the costumers are and make some nice profit.  The one problem with these is that their are not always in the same place and they are quite expensive to start up.  So what I am thinking is that stationary place is the best because as long as I do not fail to pay rent I will be okay for many many years.  But what would you do?

So I see that many people read this blog I am so grateful that you all are doing this.  Well for the new year I do plan to post more often and interesting.  I do want to make this into reviews of local restaurants but sadly my pay is bad where I work so that will not happen for many years.  So Happy New Year and see you all on the other side.

Power of Herbs

Herbs are plants that can be eaten that do more than make food taste better.  Long ago herbs where used to heal and treat many common aliments, so why can't we keep with old traditions.  Their are many advantages to the power of herbs and sadly they are not used to heal general aliments.  So I am thinking maybe I could open a burger store and have many burgers that can heal and help people out.  I plan to test this idea at some point when I have money and time and I will post my finds in a later posts.  Hope you all like this post.
